There are two ways to get to northrend. The first is in the wetlands. You get on the boat on the far right dock. One of the new steam ships picks you up and takes you to the Howling Fjord. The boat ride is very epic feeling it is by far the longest boat ride in the game. And this is a shot of were you land.
The other path to northrend is from stormwind harbor. This one is kinda confusing there are a ton of docks and ships in the brand new harbor. Since menithal harbor now takes you to northrend instead of auberdine you now reach auberdine from storm wind harbor. The farthest dock will take you to the Borean Tundra. The Borean tundra doesnt feel nearly as epic but is also a good starting area.
