Going to put together a list of all the pre raid loot to shoot for as you level your resto shaman. We are still in beta so some of these items may change but this is how it stands at the moment. Start off with Main hand, off hand, and totems today. Will put new posts with the other gear slots in the coming days
Main Hand…
- Beguiling Scepter Drops from the dark runed chest in Stratholme Past after you defeat the final boss.
- Melia’s Magnificent Scepter This is a BOE item lots of people are going to be after this one so be ready to fork out some gold for this guy. On the beta it is a world drop about 0.1% drop rate.
- Gavel of the Fleshcrafter this item currently is in the game but still has no known drop location. It does have a ilvl of 200 and would then make it a heroic drop somewhere just based on the ilvl of the item.
Shields
- Facade Shield of Glyph’s No known drop location as of yet but based on ilvl this is probably a heroic mode drop.
- Wolf Slayers Crest this is a quest reward from Sasha’s Hunt a quest in Grizzly hills
- Savage Gladiator’s Redoubt pvp trying to stay away from pvp rewards but for 6k honor and 350 arena points this guy can be earned in a day or two.
Totem this is a easy one there is only ONE healing totem in wrath that is not pvp or epic quality.
- Totem of the Bay This item is purchased with 30 venture coins. venture coins are gained by doing quests some are dailies some are one time only. You should have this item very soon. Most quests give 10 coins
Find any items that i missed post it in a comment and i will make sure to add them to the list. I tried to keep the list short to the items that would benefit resto shamans the most. I put a big push on mp5 since there are still major issues with shaman mana regen at the moment so the items are weighted to provide lots of mp5 while still giving the plus spell power we need.
There may be old world items that are better than these but i wanted to keep the list as tho you had to have items in northrend and didn’t raid in the burning crusade.
