Lets talk those ever so elusive minor glyphs. Mages currently have 7 minor glyphs most of them are just fluff but lets take a look anyway.
- Glyph of Arcane Int: Reduces the mana cost of the spell by 50% nothing earth shattering here.
- Glyph of Fire ward: 5% increased chance to reflect fire spells when active. This glyph is situational at best.
- Glyph of Frost Armor: Increases the duration of frost or ice armor by 30 min this is a waste you will either be dead or dispelled long before this is ever needed.
- Glyph of Frost ward: 5% increased chance to reflect frost spells when active. Another very situation mage glyph
- Glyph of slow fall: This is probably the first of these glyphs i would take. No more farming or buying light feathers and you know you always run out at the wrong time.
- Glyph of bear cub: Makes your polymorph turn into a bear cub instead of a sheep
- Glyph of Penguin: I use this one alot after 2 years of starring at sheep’s and pigs it was a nice change.
in my opinion the mage minor glyphs need LOTS of work. I have not studied the other classes in detail but there are far more use full minor glyphs in a few of the other classes. Blizz has stated they will be adding glyphs randomly. So here is hoping for some more useful glyphs. To be honest with you the 3 i would take are Slow Fall, Penguin, and arcane int. That is only because they are the only ones that seem worth a dam.
